In 1995, Michelle went to an equine massage school in Ohio. She is certified in Optissage. It has been so beneficial to the horses in training. The benefits of massage are both physical and psychological. The goal is to reduce the mental and physical stresses for the horse while in training. For a win-win situation! Their are no charges for massage for training horses in the barn. Massage is used when needed. A extra bonus when having a horse in training. In performance horses, massage enables the horse to compete to its full potential by increasing circulation, removes toxins including lactic acid build-up. Enhance muscle tone, relaxing muscle spasm and increase the range of motion. Massage can help to prevent injury while training. Just last year Michelle took a aroma therapy class for horses and has learned so much from the animals she works on.
