Learning to ride can help develop skills to benefit posture, balance, coordination, and confidence. Through the years we have seen the growth of riders and how riding benefits their everyday life. Children who have grown up look back with fond memories of their time with horses at Eastwich.

Eastwich's lesson program is designed for all levels of students. From just wanting a horse experience, to someone wanting to move into showing. A safe and controlled environment on well trained horses makes learning to ride enjoyable.

Lesson Information

Every student begins with one on one instruction. The lesson consists of grooming time, tacking, riding, and untacking. Lessons are available in Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, and Western. The lessons are 30 minutes of riding time.

Students will be required to wear a SFI riding helmet, riding boots, and well-fitted pants. Gloves are needed in the winter. Long hair must be tied back.

Liability releases must be signed prior to the lesson

Cancellations must be made before 9:00 a.m. It helps us plan our day and allows a replacement lesson to be scheduled.
